$\begin{align}  & \text{Let the numbers be }n,n+1,n+2,n+3 \\ & \therefore n+n+1+n+2+n+3=34 \\ & 4n+6=34 \\ & 4n=24 \\ & n=6 \\ & \text{The least of the numbers is 6} \\\end{align}$
